Senior Engineer SQA

MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Engineer SQA to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following:

• Verification of cutting-edge products like multi-gigabit WiFi-6/6E/7 and WiFi Mesh systems
• Develop, modify and execute WiFi test plans
• Wi-Fi Feature test development which includes writing test cases and procedures, documenting test results/logs to assist debugging, analyzing test results to ensure correct functionality
• Investigating root cause of test failures, automating WiFi test plans with high performance and reliability through innovative solutions that enable thorough verification of WiFi features

• Hands-on experience in WiFi test and validation
• Experience with various test tools such as traffic generators, automation front ends, test results management  
• Experience in handing WiFi 3^rd party test solution like Veriwave, Octoscope etc
• Python / TCL / Perl / Shell programming experience in creating Automation test suites
• Knowledge of wireless networking technology, 802.11 WFA certification process, 802.11 mesh networks
• Knowledge of 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax/be/6GHz standards, including WPA2/3 security protocols
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Computer Science 2+ yrs of experience
