Principal Systems Validation Engineer

MaxLinear is seeking a Principal Systems Validation Engineer to join our ream.  In this role, you will focus on:-

• System validation for highly parallel next generation hardware accelerator SoCs for Home Router & Gateway Product
• Contribute to full life-cycle product development on emulation platforms and system reference designs
• Responsible for Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation of SoC
• Define SoC Verification Strategy, manage Test case definition and test plan execution
• Test program and test automation scripts development
• Complex System issue debugging,
• Lead HW/SW/FW co-verification
• Coach junior Engineering staff

• Experienced with Verification of SoC in emulation and prototyping environment & verification techniques
• Minimum 10 years and above of working experience with system validation in complex SoC (System on Chip) environment
• Familiar with system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer
• Good understanding in network protocol in ethernet, IP & Routing
• Ability to use methodological approaches to solve highly complex problems
• Knowledge of Microcontrollers (ARM, ATOM, ARC), DSP, SoC, hardware bring-up, emulation and FPGA platform
• Experience of C/C++ Programming and other test script development languages
• Networking domain expertise is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SoC architecture and design principles
• Familiar with HSIO, High speed ethernet, SFP, XFI, PCIe Gen4/Gen5 & USB
• Bachelor Degree or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
