The HW Group is responsible to define, design, create and validate new telecommunication products based on new Maxlinear devices. The Board Design Engineer will be part the RF and System Design team in the HW Group located in Israel and will be responsible to design a new product which is based on requirements documentation from HW architecture. The Board Design Engineer will be also responsible to setup up the new product, verify its functionality, create clear documentation of the new design and work with customers when required.


  • RF Board design engineer with 7+ years of experience
  • Have knowledge in Cadence tools for schematics and layout design
  • Wide experience in RF board design up to 10GHz
  • Board design knowledge in WIFI, modems, PON – advantage
  • Antenna and RF chain knowledge - advantage
  • Wide experience with digital designs, SOC based designs, Signal and Power integrity
  • Have deep experience on digital interfaces (like: PCIe, SERDES, DDR, I2C, SPI, etc…)
  • Have experience on Power delivery sub-systems
  • Be able to design boards and work with layout editors
  • Be able to bring up and debug boards
  • Have knowledge in test equipment like scope, logic, spectrum, Network analyzer and DVM
  • Perform system and silicon testing, build tests environments
  • Have knowledge in RF and the ability to debug and fix platforms – advantage
  • Be able to create high quality and clear documentation
  • Thermal design and simulation knowledge – advantage
  • English level – high
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 7 years of experience, or MS + 5 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 2 years of experience
