Principal Test Development Engineer

MaxLinear is seeking a Principal Test Development Engineer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible and focus on the following:

• Develop innovative solutions for high parallel testing
• Develop feasibilities of test for NPI
• Co-define ATE test, characterization, qualification, manufacturing plans
• Co-work on CRAs verification
• Evaluate efficient and cost-effective methodologies
• Migrating existing products to efficient solutions
• Co-work on COGS reduction
• Co-work with internal cross-functional teams and OSATs

• Bachelor's degree in EE is preferred.
• Minimum 15~20 years of test development engineering experience or related work experience required.
• Solid experience on developing an ATE program/HW of Power/PMIC related products is required.
• Strong software skills (Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, Perl or Python) is a required.
• Strong English communication and written skills are preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proven competency in problem-solving is required.
• Ability to work effectively, strong time management, multi-tasking skills, and good initiative to overcome technical challenges is a preferred.
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meter or spectrum analyzer is preferred.
• Experience with ETS364/88/500, ACCO-8200, ASL1K and Chroma 3650/3380 is a plus.
• Experience with testing of DFT, time measurement, analog, high power or mixed signal is a plus.
