Responsibilities

Join MaxLinear and you will work closely with a world-class team of IC designers to design high-performance ICs with RF, analog, mixed-signal and digital systems integrated on a single chip.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Lead design, implementation, and verification of critical sub-blocks of a major Subsystem like Rx, Tx and PLL
  • Characterize and debug relevant blocks and systems
  • Analyze the effects of non-idealities on circuit performance
  • Report the results of design, analysis and evaluation

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of RF/Mixed-signal circuits and high speed serdes subsystems with ability to drive topology choices
  • In-depth understanding of Mixed-signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs
  • Solid understanding of CMOS process and device physics
  • Working knowledge of RF/analog layout techniques. Familiarity to FINFET layout is a must
  • Hands-on experience testing your own designs in the lab and define production test requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • (Required) BE/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in RF/Analog/Mixed-signal design or PhD in Electrical Engineering
