Responsibilities

This position requires a high degree of product knowledge and competency. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing independent customer engagement strategies, understanding customer product roadmap and close relationships with customer executives.

  • Grow MaxLinear revenue and design wins within Korea Market customers
  • Develop key executive relationships in various accounts including Samsung Network and other businesses  
  • Manage key accounts, and develop and execute a business plan for each priority customer that facilitates revenue growth over the short, medium and long term
  • Utilize SFDC CRM platform to manage opportunity funnel and drive activity to focus and drive MaxLinear international teams to enable support for Korea customer opportunities
  • Work with corporate MaxLinear team for accurate and timely forecasting, revenue tracking, quality support, quotations and general customer support backlog management
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new product expansion, the expectation is that this role will generate NPI (New Product Introduction) working closely with product lines on both technical feasibility and identification of target customer segments to support business case preparation
  • Be the customer advocate inside MaxLinear and own the customer success story for Korea market
  • Work closely with channel partners and the FAE team to ensure efficient utilization of resources for best-in-class customer support services

Qualifications

  • BSEE required, MSEE preferred. Technical understanding of 4G/5G, Wi-Fi and Optical preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the semiconductor industr, familiar with 4G/5G Wireless, Home Networking, Wi-Fi, Fiber and Industrial Market
  • Assertive, customer focused, persistent, ambitious to achieve targets
  • Well organized and strong communication (spoken and written English & Korean) and interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse set of personalities and cultures at different levels across time zones in real time
  • Proactive self-starter with high energy willing to work hard to achieve agreed sales revenue growth
  • Seniority to understand business boundaries
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the target customer segments within the territory, ideally the candidate will have worked directly in an engineering design capacity for a target customer in the past
  • Direct local Representative experience an asset
