MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Staff Digital IC Verification Engineer to join our Design and Verification team to provide innovative IPs and subsystem solutions for the challenges in wired and wireless communications and networking domains. You will work in a diverse team and participate in VLSI verification activities in a cross-functional, dynamic IC development environment. In this role, you will focus mainly on: - Perform verification of modules and subsystems including digital signal processing modules, networking components (eg. packet processing/protocol accelerator modules) as well as in high speed peripheral interfaces (integration of analogue IP modules such as SerDes PHYs) for complex IC/SOCs - Own and create verification plans based on specifications - Develop testbenches in SpecmanE/SV/UVM environments for RTL simulations and GLS - Create and run directed and random testcases to achieve coverage targets and validate functional and performance requirements of design - Support and provide verification expertise and documentation to meet engineering challenges, schedule and quality goals through executing in-house methodology and standard industry tools - Collaborate closely with cross domain teams including silicon/system architects, designers, system validation and SW engineering teams to ensure successful pre/post silicon validation of these IPs or subsystems in ASIC/SOC products - Create solutions to support continuous improvement and learning in digital IP verification methodologies and flows

MaxLinear is seeking a Specialist / Engineer to manage customer requests for information about MaxLinear products.  Requested information from customers are usually non-technical, for example related to Hazardous Substance control, packing and labeling, environmental use of the product; typical product information needed by customer to register and keep their system updated.  The role does not require knowledge of specific product details and usage in customer application.  Basic understanding of IC (Integrated Circuits) construction and assembly process, including terminology, materials and equipment used, as well as working knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet and its impact to Restricted Chemical Substances such as RoHS, REACH, are strong considerations.   In this role, 80% of your time will be managing and replying to customer questionnaires, surveys, and requests for information related to MaxLinear products.  Targeted turnaround time will be 2 weeks or less.  The other 20% of your time will be gathering, managing, and cataloging in a database collected information from MxL’s many suppliers with periodic updates required.  Responsibilities include: - Collaborating with suppliers / vendors to collect required information - Maintaining database and tracking of information for renewal - Replying to customer by feeding back requested information  - Managing customer expectations and schedule to provide information - Managing supplier expectations for requested information - Handling multiple requests at the same time - Ensuring suppliers provide timely, industry standard, product hazardous material updates such as RoHS, SVHC, SGS, CMRT, etc., required by MxL’s customers - Working closely with Quality team members, customer support group, and occasionally with Sales, FAEs, and other cross functional groups for customer problem resolution - Fundamental understanding of material declarations.  Knowledge working with IPC1752 format, IMDS, and BOMcheck applications, a plus. - Fundamental knowledge of conformance to RMI (Responsible Minerals Initiative) using CMRT and EMRT tools - Focus on administrative and document support for corporate custormers, familiarity with assembly manufacturing flow is needed
